Winter, we go you covered

If the weather around the rest of the country has been anything like Wellingtons, which has been nothing but horizontal rain, wind, cooler temperatures and endless cloudy days, it can be hard trying to encourage our furry friends to go outside to toilet. Charlie, our pampered cavoodle, has developed his best three stage strategy to avoid going outside in the mornings;

Step 1, look confused, act like you have never heard the command ‘go wees’ before in your life. EVER.

Step 2, sit perfectly still if you don’t move maybe they wont be able to see you.

Step 3, if all else fails, roll onto your back for belly rubs. Guaranteed to work, every time.

With all this in mind, we are lucky to only have one sliding door to contend with, for those living the apartment life with stairs involved it must be tough when the weather is howling around the city.

Even with our Little Lawn tucked neatly under the eve of our house, it still isn’t prevention enough from the continuous wind and rain of the last few weeks. The box lasts well outside, but it does have its limits.

Little Lawn has been designed to work inside as well as outside, inside might take a bit more time to get the target practice just right. With the dual cardboard design , when the lawn arrives remove the lid and use it as a base for the product:

1.      Remove the lid,

2.      Turn the lid upside down

3.      Use it as a base for the box containing the grass.

This adds an extra layer of protection against both the elements trying to infiltrate in and anything trying to escape.

With inside use we currently recommend using a towel, plastic mat or similar to protect your floor. We are currently looking into products that are like plastic but with a better environmental impact, the idea would be that these are used to place your Little Lawn on and protect the floor from any unwanted spills.

Little Lawn suitable for indoor and outdoor use, roll on summer.
