Hello! We’re Little Lawn

Hi New Zealand, we’re Little Lawn and we are happy to be here!

We are Aotearoa’s first real grass delivery for pets who are living their best urban life but crave a little bit of that real grass freshness. We are based in the capital city, Wellington, so we know all about wild weather and how difficult it is to get your pup to go out and do their business.

The wild weather is what kick-started Little Lawn, we live in a small townhouse in the hills around Newlands where sometimes it likes to rain sideways. Charlie our pampered, sassy cavoodle didn’t much like doing his thing outside in the rain, lots of encouragement was needed on those late nights and early dark mornings.

Chatting with friends we realized that we weren’t alone in our plight, this is when Todd entered, a larger dog who knew the difference between the real and fake stuff too.  We thought that there must be a better, more eco-friendly alternative.

 After much trial and error, including a lot of torn and dug up grass. We found a solution that was accepted by both Charlie and Todd, real grass, deep enough to naturally absorb and strong enough to last a few weeks of use.

What surprised us was how quickly both pups took to using their own little piece of grass, with a little encouragement we soon had them both trained and doing their business in style. On the wild days, the lawn would sit neatly inside and on the sunnier days it would be placed outside for the pups to enjoy.  Buoyed by this success and pretty sure that we couldn’t be the only two households in New Zealand to have pampered pooches we started Little Lawn. 

Little Lawn was launched in February 2026, shipping to the North Island, Christchurch and Queenstown. Our aim is to bring a more eco-friendly, natural product to all dogs, cats and pets who are lacking a bit of green in their life.
